Following the Mobile tour, THE COMEDY OF ERRORS will have a sit-down run at The Public Theater, now through Sunday, November 22, with an official press opening tonight, November 5.

Tonight, November 6th, Hamilton creator and star Lin-Manuel Miranda will appear on NBC's TONIGHT SHOW STARRING JIMMY FALLON.

When I first saw "If/Then" in New York I thought the same thing I think now, "Cute show but it'll never make it without Idina Menzel since the show is basically a vehicle for her." Well, I guess the producers of the tour agreed with me since more than half of the original leads including Menzel are on tour with the show currently at the Paramount Theatre.

Playwrights Horizons presents the New York premiere production of HIR, a new play by Obie Award-winning Theater Artist Taylor Mac. Directed by Niegel Smith, the play is the second production of Playwrights Horizons' 2015/2016 Season and will have its Opening Night on Sunday evening, November 8 at Playwrights Horizons' Peter Jay Sharp Theater (416 West 42nd Street). Signature Theatre's INCIDENT AT VICHY, by Arthur Millerand directed by Michael Wilson, will play in a 50th Anniversary production through Sunday, December 13, 2015. The Public Theater has announced a one-week extension for the critically acclaimed FIRST DAUGHTER SUITE, a world premiere musical by Michael John LaChiusa, BroadwayWorld has confirmed. Directed by Kirsten Sanderson, FIRST DAUGHTER SUITE began previews on Tuesday, October 6 and was originally scheduled to close on Sunday, November 15. It will now run an additional week through Sunday, November 22. Ghostlight Records recently recorded the original cast recording of FIRST DAUGHTER SUITE to be released later this season.

The celebrated new production of D.L. Coburn's Pulitzer Prize-winning play, The Gin Game, directed by Leonard Foglia and starring legendary actors James Earl Jones and Cicely Tyson, will add four performances in December and January, BroadwayWorld has learned.
