NBC wins the night in total viewers, growing +1.9 million persons or +34% versus the same Wednesday last year (7.508 million vs. 5.616 million on Oct. 18, 2017). NBC's margin of victory for the night was +1.7 million viewers or +30% (7.508 million vs. 5.909 million for #2 CBS).

During the week of Oct. 8, 2018, ABC's “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” grew to new season highs, soaring over the prior week by double digits in Total Viewers (+19% - 2.234 million vs. 1.872 million) and Adults 18-49 (+13% - 534,000 vs. 474,000). In fact, “Kimmel” scored 4-month highs in both Nielsen measures – since the week of 6/4/18. Excluding the two NBA Finals weeks in June, the ABC late-night program delivered its strongest performance since last spring in Total Viewers and Adults 18-49 – since the weeks of 3/19/18 and 4/16/18, respectively.
