NEWSADOOZIES: A Man-Eating Musical, a new musical parody of the cult movie/Broadway musical Newsies, continues its standing-room-only run at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre, 307 West 26th Street (west of 8th Ave). Singer, songwriter, and guitarist Gary Clark Jr. has been invited to perform at all of this year's major American music festivals, from a prime slot at the eclectic Bonnaroo (where he also appeared during the day last year), to the alternative mainstays Coachella and Montreal's Osheaga Festival, to the indie rock-driven Sasquatch!, to the NOLA Jazz & Heritage Festival, plus many other top-line festivals whose line-ups will be announced in the coming weeks.

On April 2, 2012, at New York's Avery Fisher Hall in Lincoln Center, musical artists and stars will come together to show their support for a special evening billed as "A Celebration of Paul Newman's Dream," to benefit Paul Newman's Association of Hole in the Wall Camps. The event will feature performances by world-renowned performing artists, the campers themselves and a special announcement about the Association's global network of camps. Performances will include GRAMMY-winning and GRAMMY-nominated musicians: Josh Groban, Paul Simon and Trisha Yearwood, as well as additional surprise musical performances throughout the evening and appearances by Jake Gyllenhaal and Jimmy Fallon, with more to be announced. Ticket sales from the evening - which is supported by Newman's Own Foundation and hosted by Joanne Woodward, produced by Kevin Duncan and directed by Josh Rhodes - will benefit Paul Newman's family of camps and programs supporting children facing serious illnesses from around the world.

David Garrett comes full circle with his new classical recording of Beethoven and Kreisler, Legacy, to be released June 5th on Decca, along with stand-alone concert DVD Legacy Live. Both represent David's dual career, bridging his crossover repertoire with his classical career that began at age 9 when played his first symphony concerts, to later signing a deal with the prestigious Deutsche Grammophon label at 14. Landing at #1 on the top of the UK's classical chart, Legacy also achieved platinum status in Germany, where it was the highest debut on the Pop Chart for a classical instrumental recording since the inception of that chart in 1962.
