The 2013 - 2014 season includes the Chicago premiere of the new musical farce Double Trouble, August 31 - October 6; the "Fats" Waller revue Ain't Misbehavin', February 1 - March 9, 2014, the Broadway classic How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying, April 26 - June 1, 2014 and a new "Lost Musicals" series Porchlight Revisits... taking audiences to a particular time and place in Broadway musical history. DRG Records has released the new 2013 Broadway cast recording of Roundabout Theatre Company's critically acclaimed Broadway production of Rupert Holmes' Tony Award-winning musical comedy The Mystery of Edwin Drood, which closed on Broadway yesterday, March 10, at Studio 54 (254 West 54th Street).
Cast members performed from the album at the Upper East Side Barnes & Noble (86th & Lexington Ave.) on March 8, joined by Will Chase, Jim Norton, Gregg Edelman and Chita Rivera for a CD signing following the performances. BroadwayWorld was there for the celebrations and brings you photos below!

Broadway luminaries and Riverdale's most talented performers will join forces for a 25th Anniversary concert production of Stephen Sondheim's classic fairy tale musical INTO THE WOODS, to be performed at the Riverdale YM-YWHA on Saturday, March 16, 2013, at 8pm.
Performed for four sold-out evenings beginning April 7, 2011, with the superb New York Philharmonic, Company In Concert was filmed for theatrical exhibition in more than 500 theatres nationwide this past March. Company In Concert was produced by Ellen Krass Productions. Lonny Price directed the production with Paul Gemignani conducting the New York Philharmonic.

Betsy Wolfe continues as "Rosa Bud" through February 10th and Erin Davie will assume the role beginning February 12th, 2013.

The Mystery of Edwin Drood is playing a limited engagement at Studio 54 (254 West 54th Street) through March 10th, 2013. The original end date was February 10th, 2013. Yesterday the cast gatherd at DRG Records to record the cast album of the new 2012 Broadway production. The cast album will be a two-disc set that will also include a new Act Two opening number, additional ballet music from Puffer's opium den, an additional Act One track not previously recorded and eight tracks featuring the confession of each murderer.
