Florida State Theatre will be moving 'Shake Rattle & Roll' into the Gompertz theatre to allow it a 2-week extension. It ends performances in the Cabaret on March 25, 2012, and will continue from March 27 - April 7 in the Gompertz.

FST announces its final Cabaret show of the Winter season, Reel Music, opening in the Goldstein Cabaret on March 28 at 7:30pm. These artists introduced the world to Rock 'n' Roll, with a west-Texas country sound, sweet harmonies of Kentucky bluegrass, and the electrifying rhythm and blues of Memphis. The festival is a dynamic event that gives continued life to the work of emerging playwrights, going beyond producing the world premiere. This year, FST produces the 20th annual festival. Florida Studio Theatre broke box office records and sold out of Cabaret subscriptions this morning. FST has sold 8,640 subscriptions for the 2010-2011 Cabaret series, putting the Goldstein Cabaret at subscription capacity. Last year, the sales goal and capacity was 7,800 subscriptions.
FST's Goldstein Cabaret returns to the age of innocence with The Wanderers, developed byRichard Hopkins, Rebecca Langford and Jim Prosser, beginning October 13.
