According to the Miami Herald, nine-time Tony Award winner Tommy Tune has spent two weeks working with playwright Mark Saltzman and University of Miami theater students on 'Project 54.' The untitled musical is about New York's Studio 54 and its co-creator Steve Rubell.

Three young people from Ballyfermot, Dublin, are preparing for a trip of a lifetime to Los Angeles at the end of next month. The visit to LA, the filmmaking capital of the world, is part of Belfast-based Cinemagic International Film and Television Festival's second USA festival programme, which aims to inspire, educate, motivate and create opportunities for young people, aged 4-25, through the medium of film. Cinemagic has delivered three successful festivals in Dublin since it first opened outside of Belfast in 2008.

Artistic Director Jon Ludwig reprises his anatomical hit, The Body Detective, from January 20 - March 13, 2011. This musical adventure through the systems of the human body is part of the Center for Puppetry Arts' Healthy Children Initiative, which aims to educate children about the inner workings of the human body and encourage them to make healthy choices.

The OBIE-winning HERE is thrilled to announce its annual CULTUREMART festival line-up. Running January 7 - 23, CULTUREMART makes process the focus, as the festival presents work in development from the exciting roster of the HERE Artist Residency Program (HARP). This year's CULTUREMART slate features twelve multidisciplinary works that push the boundaries of dance, theater, music, new media, puppetry and visual art resulting in adventurous new forms. CULTUREMART 2011 takes place in both of HERE's theaters, the Mainstage and the Dorothy B. Williams Theater.
