Stage West presents Alfred Hitchcock's THE 39 STEPS, adapted by Patrick Barlow.

Following the success of the recent Hometown season, Royal & Derngate presents The Talented Mr Ripley as its next Made in Northampton production, which launches the Autumn season. Featuring film and TV star Michelle Ryan, this gripping psychological thriller takes to the Royal stage from Friday 17 September until Saturday 9 October.

Tickets for the upcoming Broadway production of George Bernard Shaw's play Mrs. Warren's Profession go on sale to the general public on July 30. The production, to be produced by the Roundabout Theatre Company, will star Tony® Award winner Cherry Jones as Kitty Warren and Golden Globe winner Sally Hawkins making her Broadway debut as Vivie Warren and will be directed by Tony® Award winner Doug Hughes at the American Airlines Theatre on Broadway (227 West 42nd St). The cast will also feature Adam Driver as Frank Gardner, Mark Harelik as Sir George Crofts, Edward Hibbert as Mr. Praed and Michael Siberry as Reverend Samuel Gardner.

According to the report, Jim Broadbent is being courted for the role of Denis Thatcher. 'Thatcher' is set to cover the seventeen days leading into the Falklands War of 1982.

The UK Independent is reporting Kim Cattrall and Matthew Macfayden will team up with Gillian Anderson to star in the UK's Channel 4 four-part mini-series Any Human Heart. The series is an adaptation of William Boyd's best-selling novel and will premiere later this year.
