TIME STANDS STILL to Play North Coast Rep, 2/23-3/17

North Coast Repertory Theatre will present Time Stands Still by Donald Margulies. Directed by David Ellenstein, the show runs in previews February 20 - 22, 2013 and continues for a regular run February 23 - March 17, 2013.

Theatre Alliance of Buffalo Announces APPLAUSE FOR HOPE Fundraiser

The Theatre Alliance of Buffalo (TAB) announced a collaborative fundraising event called APPLAUSE FOR HOPE in support of Roswell Park Cancer Institute (RPCI). On Saturdays in February 2013, fourteen participating TAB theaters will be donating 30%* of their ticket sales to fund RPCI's extraordinary work on a cancer vaccine and its promise to save lives. Zach Appelman Stars in Folger Theatre's HENRY V, Now thru 3/3

The epic story of King Henry V's battle with the French during the Hundred Years' War comes alive for the first time at the Folger Theatre, in William Shakespeare's historical drama Henry V. The production, directed by Robert Richmond (Othello and Henry VIII at the Folger), stars Zach Appelman (War Horse on Broadway) in his Folger Theatre debut as Henry V, and will run from tonight, January 22 - March 3, 2013.

Jane Kaczmarek, Gregory Harrison and Diane Cary Star in Indie Chi Productions' THE SNAKE CAN, Now thru 2/24

Diane Cary, Jane Kaczmarek and Sharon Sharth star as three successful women who challenge themselves to find love and personal fulfillment in the middle years of life. Steven Robman directs the ensemble cast, which also includes Gregory Harrison, James Lancaster and Joel Polis, in the world premiere of The Snake Can by Kathryn Graf (Hermetically Sealed). Performances run tonight, January 19 through February 24, presented by Indie Chi Productions at the Odyssey Theatre in West Los Angeles.

Collected Stories had an extended sold-out run at Manhattan Theatre Club in New York.

Polarity Ensemble Theatre's Dionysos Cup Festival of New Plays Announces Lineup Updates

Polarity Ensemble Theatre's Dionysos Cup Festival of New Plays has apparently reached the proper vintage to bear multiple fruit. This summer two scripts developed in the Dionysos Cup series will see their world premieres playing simultaneously, the series itself adds video thanks to an award from the Saints, another Dionysos Cup play has gone on to further development with the Goodman Theatre, and Polarity will award this year's Cup to a worthy and entertaining new script.
