Tickets for THE INVISIBLE HAND, the second production of the New York Theatre Workshop (NYTW) 2014/15 Season, are now on sale at www.nytw.org. Written by Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright Ayad Akhtar (Disgraced) and directed by Obie Award-winning director Ken Rus Schmoll (Red Dog Howls),THE INVISIBLE HAND begins previews on Wednesday, November 19, 2014 and officially opens on Monday, December 8, 2014 at New York Theatre Workshop (79 E. 4th Street New York, NY 10003) for a limited engagement through Sunday, January 4, 2015. Cast and creative team will be announced shortly.

WAM (Women's Action Movement) Theatre's artistic director Kristen van Ginhoven has announced that legendary playwright Marsha Norman and WAMC Northeast Public Radio producer Sarah LaDuke will co-host Change Makers, WAM Theatre's fifth season celebration and benefit at The Mahaiwe Performing Arts Center in Great Barrington on August 24 at 7 pm. This dynamic duo takes the place of actor Jayne Atkinson, who needed to bow out to attend the Emmy Awards In Los Angeles.

WAM (Women's Action Movement) Theatre will celebrate its fifth season on Sunday, August 24, with Change Makers, an exciting and relevant evening hosted by acclaimed actress Jayne Atkinson. The celebration is centered on a dynamic panel discussion moderated by WAM Theatre artistic director Kristen van Ginhoven featuring artists whose work catalyzes positive social change. The celebration and benefit, taking place at the Mahaiwe Center for the Performing Arts in Great Barrington, will also include a sneak peek of WAM Theatre's fall production and the announcement of the beneficiary of this year's philanthropic donation.

Red-Eye to Havre de Grace is by Lucidity Suitcase Intercontinental, created by Thaddeus Phillips, Jeremy Wilhelm, David Wilhelm, Geoff Sobelle, Sophie Bortolussi with Ean Sheehy and music by Wilhelm Bros. & Co. and direction and stage design by Thaddeus Phillips, Opening night is set for Thursday, May 1 at 7pm. Red-Eye to Havre de Grace is scheduled to run through Sunday, June 1, 2014.

New York Theatre Workshop (NYTW) has announced that its 2014/15 season will include the U.S. premiere of Scenes from a Marriage written by Ingmar Bergman, adapted by Emily Mann and directed by Ivo van Hove; the New York premiere of The Invisible Hand, written by Ayad Akhtar and directed by Ken Rus Schmoll; and the New York premiere of Forever, writtenand performed by Dael Orlandersmith and directed by Neel Keller. In the coming weeks NYTW will announce an additional production that will round out the season.
