Piotr Borowski, a student and collaborator of Jerzy Grotowski and co-founder of Gardzienice Theatre, has created a stage adaptation of 'Chasing the King of Hearts' by Hannah Krall. The book is a 2007 bestseller of spiritual survival in the fateless universe of the Holocaust. Borowski's play, 'The King of Hearts is Off Again,' is a memory piece with physical theater that has been presented in California and the Midwest. La MaMa will present present the Kulture+ production of this play, acted by Studium Teatralne, for its East Coast debut tonight, November 26 to 30, 2014. The piece will be performed by actors from Warsaw, where it was developed.'

The Flea presents the World Premiere of I SEE YOU by Kate Robin. This romantic comedy will be directed by Flea Artistic Director Jim Simpson. Previews of this limited run Off-Broadway engagement begin tonight, November 7 with opening slated for Sunday, November 16.

The Martin E. Segal Theatre Center at the CUNY Graduate Center has announced its SPRING 2014 season of public programs. The season includes the Center's inaugural PEN World Voices International Play Festival, featuring 9 free readings of plays from around the globe, including HAITI, JAPAN, TUNISIA, CHILE, POLAND, AUSTRALIA, SINGAPORE, AUSTRIA and INDIA. Inspired by American novelist Nathaniel Hawthorne's short story, The Artist of the Beautiful, and under the direction of Katharine Noon, the Los Angeles-based theater company has created a beautifully haunting new play, which explores the delicate intersection of genius and madness. Performances will be held at Artworks Theatre (6569 Santa Monica Boulevard Los Angeles, CA 90038) tonight, March 26 through Sunday, April 7, 2013.
