The New York Musical Festival (NYMF), previously known as The New York Musical Theater Festival, will honor Tony and Grammy Award winning composer and lyricist Duncan Sheik, Casting Director Tara Rubin, and former NYMF Board Member and Treasurer Frank Troutman at its 2016 Gala hosted by Mo Rocca on Sunday, November 13 at the Edison Ballroom in Midtown Manhattan (240 W 47th St, New York, NY 10036).

Today, Billboard shared an exclusive clip of Midler's appearance on the singing competition, in which she offers advice to the contestants.

According to Page Six, Allison Janney will make her return to Broadway next season in the first Broadway revival of Six Degrees of Separation. No director has been announced, but the original director, Jerry Zaks, will be represented on Broadway this season with A Bronx Tale and Hello, Dolly!

Rehearsals began today for the Broadway premiere of A BRONX TALE THE MUSICAL, the new musical featuring a book by Academy Award nominee Chazz Palminteri, music by Oscar, Grammy, and Tony Award winner Alan Menken, and lyrics by Grammy Award winner and Oscar and Tony Award nominee Glenn Slater, co-directed by two-time Oscar winner Robert De Niro and four-time Tony Award winner Jerry Zaks, with choreography by Tony nominee Sergio Trujillo. The show is produced by Tommy Mottola, the Dodgers, and Tribeca Productions.

Broadway In Chicago, Stageworks Media and Troika Entertainment present the National Touring production of CHEERS LIVE ON STAGE. Based on the best and most memorable moments from the Emmy Award-winning classic hit TV series, CHEERS LIVE ON STAGE plays the Broadway Playhouse at Water Tower Place (175 E. Producer Scott Rudin announced the much anticipated Broadway revival of Michael Stewart's (book) and Jerry Herman's (music and lyrics) masterpiece Hello, Dolly!, starring legendary performer Bette Midler.
