First Reading Of New Drama THE UNBLEACHED AMERICAN Debuts 6/15

Theatre Resources Unlimited and Lisa Dozier in association with Elaine Smith will present the first New York public reading of the new drama The Unbleached American by Michael Aman, directed by Michael Bush (Stormy Weather, Based on a Totally True Story) on June 15th at 7pm.

Theater Resources Unlimited (TRU) announces the winning selections of the 2009 TRU Voices New Plays Reading Series. In a series that is unique because it develops new producers as well as new plays, three works were chosen from submissions by emerging or established producers, as well as from writers who hoped to be matched with a producer. Fulfilling TRU's mission of nurturing the producer-writer relationship, each of the plays this year is either produced by, or with the assistance of, a member of the TRU Producer Mentorship program.

Lewis Evans' 'Just A Piano' Concert will feature standards, pop, Gospel, R&B and Broadway.

Show Boat will have one preview performance in Issaquah on Wednesday, May 13, 2009, and will officially open the following day, running May 14-July 3, 2009 in Issaquah, and July 10-August 2, 2009 in Everett.
