Additional artists have been announced for composer-lyricist Scott Alan's fourth recording, 'Live,' which follows his critically acclaimed 'What I Wanna Be When I Grow Up,' 'Dreaming Wide Awake' and 'Keys.' Newly announced for the disc are Wicked's Julia Murney, Ragtime Tony nominee Christiane Noll, Newsies' Ben Fankhauser and Season 3 winners of 'The Sing-Off,' Pentatonix.

Sting caught NEWSIES on Broadway this weekend with his wife, Trudie Styler, and the couple posed with the show's stars - Jeremy Jordan as Jack Kelly and Kara Lindsay as Katherine Plumber. Check out the photo below!

For the second installment in their series 'Cam's Cam-eo,' the 'Good Morning America' cameras were there as correspondent Cameron Mathison made a series of cameos in a recent performance of Newsies, after spending the day with the company learning how to be a newsie. Newsies, the new American musical, which is currently in performances at Broadway's Nederlander Theatre (208 W 41st St) will be featured on ABC's "Good Morning America" Monday, April 16 in the 8:00am hour. For the second installment in their series "Cam's Cam-eo," the "Good Morning America" cameras were there as correspondent Cameron Mathison made a series of cameos in a recent performance of Newsies, after spending the day with the company learning how to be a newsie. "Good Morning America" airs nationally on ABC from 7:00 - 9:00a.m.

Newsies opened March 29th, at Broadway's Nederlander Theatre for a limited run following its critically-hailed stint at Paper Mill Playhouse last fall. The musical, featuring a score by Alan Menken and Jack Feldman and a book by Harvey Fierstein, played its first Broadway preview on March 15th; the final performance is scheduled for August 19th. On Twitter Watch, Jeremy Jordan & Paul Nolan wrote 'For those interested, Im singing the national anthem on Friday at 1pm Est for opening day at Yankee Stadium. Um... AHHHH!!! One week from the Yankees home opener on April 13th. Tune into it, because I will be singing God Bless America!'

Stage veteran Darren Criss may be through with his run in HOW TO SUCCEED, but that doesn't mean that he's done with Broadway. In a recent interview with Billboard, Criss revealed that he just made a trip to the Nederlander Theatre to see NEWSIES. Criss told Billboard: 'I'm a huge 'Newsies' fan, and I love that show. I wouldn't deign to think I could be in that show because I can't sing or dance like those kids. They put me to shame.'

The Original Broadway Cast Recording of NEWSIES is now available digitally today on Ghostlight Records. After opening on July 9, 2011 the show immediately became a sold-out phenomenon and was selected by Time Magazine as one of the year's Top 5 Musicals.
