Meet the cast of The York Theatre Company's Fall 2014 Musicals in Mufti Series presentation of the first New York revival of Saturday Night, with book by Julius J. Epstein and music & lyrics by Stephen Sondheim, based on the play, Front Porch in Flatbush by Julius J. Epstein and Philip G. Epstein. Saturday Night marks the 100th production in the series.

The York Theatre Company, dedicated to the development of new musicals and preserving musical gems from the past, celebrates the Fall 2014 Musicals in Mufti Series with the 100th production and the first New York revival of Saturday Night, with book by Julius J. Epstein and music & lyrics by Stephen Sondheim, based on the play, Front Porch in Flatbush by Julius J. Epstein and Philip G. Epstein.

Jen Noble (Ghost), Remy Zaken (Spring Awakening), Jeremy Greenbaum (Newsies), Corey Mach (Godspell), Chris McCarrell (LES MISERABLES), and Kevin Carolan (Newsies) attended a launch party last weekend on Sunday, October 26 for BACK TO REALITY at Tribeca Cinemas. The cast of TAMAR OF THE RIVER, the critically-acclaimed and Drama Desk Award-nominated show produced at Prospect Theater Company, will celebrate the release of their world premiere recording with a one night only reunion concert tonight, September 22, 2014 at 8pm at Musical Theater Factory (250 West 40th Street, 4th Floor).

YELLOW SOUND LABEL will release the world premiere recording of the acclaimed new musical TAMAR OF THE RIVER on September 23, 2014. The album is currently available for pre-order at iTunes and Amazon.com. TAMAR OF THE RIVER features music by Marisa Michelson and lyrics by Joshua H. Cohen and was directed by Daniel Goldstein (Godspell), with choreography by Chase Brock (Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark, Picnic). The show was nominated for two 2014 Drama Desk Awards, including "Outstanding Actress in a Musical" for Margo Seibert, who made her Broadway debut last season as Adrian in Rocky. The TAMAR OF THE RIVER cast recording was produced by Michael Croiter (Matilda, Big Fish, Heathers). Pre-order the album at www.yellowsoundlabel.com.

Prospect Theater Company (Cara Reichel, Producing Artistic Director / Melissa Huber, Managing Director) presents its 2014 annual gala, New York In June, in the Harbor View Room at Battery Gardens, a beautiful and unique waterside location nestled at the southernmost corner of Battery Park. This special one-night-only event will be held on Monday, June 30 with an 8pm concert performance featuring Broadway and Prospect stars. The evening's program will include songs from Prospect's 15 years developing and producing new musical theater by emerging artists, including recent productions of Jasper in Deadland, Tamar of the River, and Unlock'd, as well as sneak peak performances from upcoming shows! Proceeds from the evening will benefit Prospect's ongoing mission to develop and produce new American musical theater works.

STARS IN THE ALLEY, presented by United Airlines, was presented earlier this week in Shubert Alley, between Broadway and 8th Avenue and 44th and 45th Streets. To add to the festivities leading up to the Tony Awards, the free outdoor concert in the heart of the Theatre District celebrated Broadway with star appearances and exciting performances from over 20 new shows and long-running favorites, accompanied by a live 12-piece orchestra. Rosie O'Donnell, one of Broadway's biggest supporters, went to see the Tony Award-winning smash-hit musical Newsies at the Nederlander Theatre (208 W 41st St.) this weekend. Following the performance, Ms. O'Donnell went backstage to meet the cast, later tweeting, 'LOVED IT SO MUCH - amazing talent on that stage!'
