Nominated for Best New Musical at the 2013 Olivier Awards, Bill Kenwright and John Miller have announced new dates for 2013 for the smash-hit UK tour of SOUL SISTER - the new musical inspired by the music, life and times of Ike and Tina Turner, that caused a sensation at the West End's Savoy Theatre with rave reviews and standing ovations. The show will visit Nottingham, Bristol, Stoke, Malvern, Brighton, Blackpool, Liverpool, Windsor, Bromley, Sunderland, and Perth.
Suggs and Madness saxophonist Lee Thompson led the sell-out audience at the 10th anniversary charity gala performance of OUR HOUSE in an impromptu singalong of their greatest hits last night. It brought the curtain down at the Savoy Theatre on a night that saw many original cast members both in the production and on stage in the show in a fundraiser for the Help for Heroes Charity. Siobhan Dillon and Mark Evans are to join the cast of Ghost The Musical to play Molly and Sam in Matthew Warchus' stage musical version of the Academy Award® winning film. Ghost The Musical opened at the Piccadilly Theatre in the West End in June this year where it has subsequently been playing to packed houses.
