Ghost The Musical announced today that a limited number of $25 tickets in the first and second rows of the Orchestra will be available through a lottery drawing for each performance beginning with the first preview on Thursday, March 15th. The lottery will open two and a half hours prior to each performance. The drawing will take place two hours prior to curtain giving all participants 30 minutes to enter the lottery. There is a limit of one entry per person, and two tickets per winner. Ghost The Musical lottery winners must be present at the time of the drawing and valid identification must be shown to purchase tickets. Only cash will be accepted to purchase lottery tickets. All winning entries will be checked for duplication and disqualified if more than one entry was submitted. Lottery tickets are subject to availability and will not be available on Ghost The Musical's Opening Night, April 23, 2012.

At the Whats On Stage audience awards, Ghost the Musical's Richard Fleeshman just won 'Best Actor in a Musical' for Ghost. Talking to press after winning, Fleeshman talked about changes to the show that have been made for the currently rehearsing Broadway production, noting that 'We've made it more focused. Some of the illusions have gotten even more incredible and the cast is bigger. It's been very exciting.'

The Nederlander Theatre box office opens for Newsies Monday, January 30th at 10:00am. The Nederlander Theatre box office will be open Monday through Saturday 10:00am - 8:00pm through March 11th. The Lunt-Fontanne Theatre Box Office (205 West 46th Street) opens on Monday, January 30, 2012 at 10am for Ghost The Musical. Edgar, the Bat Boy, is found in cave in West Virginia and then brought-up by a well-meaning family. Still the outsider, Edgar struggles to fit and survive in a world that is not ready to accept him.

PlayhouseSquare and the Baldwin-Wallace College Conservatory of Music (B-W) are partnering to present the first regional premiere of [title of show], May 1-3 at the 14th Street Theatre at PlayhouseSquare. The show will feature current students in the Baldwin-Wallace Music Theatre Program under the direction of nationally acclaimed director Victoria Bussert, head of the music theatre program at B-W. Due to the schedule at Village Players, this will be the final extension of the production; no more performances are possible. Tickets for this performance are expected to sell-out quickly. Far From Freud confronts the challenges of life and follows the quest for new beginnings. Though the characters are all seeing the same therapist, they come to learn that their greatest source of comfort and healing is in their relationships with each other. Featuring a vibrant, modern score, Far From Freud is a moving and powerful celebration of the strength of the human spirit. The show is written by Phil Riegle and directed by Christopher Pazdernik.
