Homespun Holiday Special Airs Monday, November 29 on the ABC Television Network and Features Performances of Holiday Classics and Interviews with Artists and Their Families

Jennifer Nettles, of reigning CMA Vocal Group of the Year Sugarland, hosts 'CMA Country Christmas' with music, memories and stories of the season from some of the format's biggest stars. Artists who perform in the special and share with fans their favorite holiday traditions include Sheryl Crow, Little Big Town, Martina McBride, Brad Paisley, Kellie Pickler, Rascal Flatts, Reba, LeAnn Rimes, Darius Rucker and Sugarland.

In November, many of Country Music's biggest talents are appearing on the ABC television network, home to 'The 44th Annual CMA Awards,' airing on Wednesday, November 10 (8:00-11:00 p.m., ET).

The Country Music Association Awards, also known as the CMA Awards, or the CMAs, and not to be confused with the ACM Awards, are voted on by business members of the Country Music Association. The first CMA awards were presented at an untelevised ceremony in Nashville's Municipal Auditorium in 1967.

The GRAMMY Awards took place live on Sunday, Jan. 31, at STAPLES Center in Los Angeles.

If there is one person who thinks his Kennedy Center honor is merited it is Mel Brooks himself. Said the funny-man in a recent interview with the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette of his recognition,'I agree 100 percent...I am a national treasure, I SHOULD be celebrated. And I hope against hope that you won't find my award on eBay, because you never know...You run out of cash and wherewithal ...'

USA Today has revealed that Beyonce will sing for Barack and Michelle Obama's first dance on inauguration night. The song has just been announced to be the Etta James classic 'At Last.' The star recently portrayed the blues great in the film Cadillac Records (where she also sings the song).

The Presidential Inaugural Committee is keeping mum on the title of the song. 'It is our hope that we can keep the song secret until the moment,' said spokeswoman Linda Douglass to the paper. The inaugural team for Barack Obama has announced a huge and starry lineup of talent that will perform at an opening celebration at the Lincoln Memorial on Sunday, in a kickoff heavy in its mix of history and leading performance artists.
