WILMINGTON, Del. - OperaDelaware Monday entered rehearsals for its spring opera festival, which begins May 8 and continues over two weekends through May 17.  The festival highlights the best of French opera.

The final installment of our SUNDAY ARTIST SPOTLIGHT series takes place on March 22 with Jeffrey Miller and bass Ben Wager. Ben and Jeffrey will offer a diverse program featuring selections by Vaughan Williams, Schubert, Mozart, Mussorgsky and more! You will not want to miss this beautiful afternoon of music. Just last night, Tovah Feldshuh hosted the Theatre Development Fund's (TDF) 2014 Gala, which celebrated the 35th season of TDF's Accessibility Programs (TAP). TAP are TDF's services for people with physical disabilities, as well as individuals on the autism spectrum. OperaDelaware announced today that the final performance of its popular Inside the Opera Studio series, Les pêcheurs de perles (The Pearl Fishers) is sold out for 2 p.m. on Sunday, March 9. A limited number of tickets remain for the Friday, March 7 performance, which will be held at 7:30 at the OperaDelaware studios at 4 Poplar Street, Wilmington. Jack Gindi's new play, Best Friends, will have a staged reading at 2:00pm on Friday, November 16th at Theatre 54 inside Shetler Studios. David Glenn Armstrong directs this four-person contemporary comedy/drama which stars Josh Adam Davis, Sarah Nedwek, Graham Powell, and Leah Wagner.
