The National Tour of the scamming, scheming, double-crossing hit Broadway musical Dirty Rotten Scoundrels will play Chicago's Auditorium Theatre of Roosevelt University, 50 E. Congress Parkway, July 31 through August 12, 2007
DIRTY ROTTEN SCOUNDRELS will play its final performance at Broadway's Imperial Theatre on Sunday, September 3, 2006 at 3:00 pm. The show began previews on Monday, January 31, 2005, and played 36 preview performances. It will have played 666 regular performances since its opening night Thursday, March 3, 2005.

Broadway L.A. launches its 2006-07 season with the Los Angeles premiere of the Tony Award winning musical Dirty Rotten Scoundrels for a two week run this summer (August 15-27) at the Pantages Theatre. Headlining the engagement is Norbert Leo Butz who recreates his Tony Award winning role as Freddy Benson.
Tom Hewitt and Laura Marie Duncan will headline the national tour of Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, while Norbert Leo Butz will be with the tour through October 24th
Keith Carradine and Brian D'Arcy James will succeed Jonathan Pryce and Norbert Leo Butz in Dirty Rotten Scoundrels on July 20th, while Richard Kind will join the cast on August 3rd and Sherie Rene Scott returns on June 20th
Keith Carradine--last seen on Broadway in his Tony-nominated turn in The Will Rogers Follies--will succeed Jonathan Pryce in Dirty Rotten Scoundrels beginning on July 18th
Norbert Leo Butz, who recently mentioned to the New York Daily News that he was considering recreating his Dirty Rotten Scoundrels role in the upcoming national tour of the hit musical, announced in the press room of today's Drama League Awards luncheon that he has opted not to do the tour after all
