The Barn Theatre Announces 2016 Summer Season!

The Barn Theatre, Michigan's oldest professional summer theatre, under the artistic leadership of Brendan Ragotzy, announced today the 70th Anniversary season of plays and musicals to be presented for the 2016 summer season at the landmark theatre.

Vagabond Players Set 2016-17 Season: AVENUE Q, ALL MY SONS & More

The Vagabond Players has announced its historic 101st  consecutive season for 2016-17.  The Vagabonds first opened in 1916 as a  part of the Little Theatre Movement that was sweeping the country at the  time. Whereas most of those theatres eventually closed or went dark for  several seasons, The Vagabonds has produced a season for 101 consecutive  years earning it the title:

Lakewood Playhouse to Present AVENUE Q, 6/3-7/3

?The Lakewood Playhouse is proud to present the FINAL SHOW of our 77th SEASON: The South Sound debut of the Tony Award-Winning Musical celebrating its First Decade on Broadway - AVENUE "Q"! with Music & Lyrics by Robert Lopez & Jeff Marx and a Book by Jeff Whitty Michael Frayn!  This production will also mark the conclusion of our year-long celebration of the 50th ANNIVERSARY of the very building we do all of our Productions in - THE LAKEWOOD PLAYHOUSE THEATRE!  From TAMING of the SHREW in its first year to AVENUE Q at the end of this season, we will have presented over 300 Productions at this venue that was first built for us in 1965 by the Lakewood Arts Foundation.

BWW Review: AVENUE Q at 710 Main Theatre

A joyous thing is happening at 710 Main Theatre. A group of irreverant puppets and some caricature humans have moved in on a street where you say what you mean and you mean what you say. This hilarious production of AVENUE Q presented MusicalFare had the attentive audience laughing at things they know they shouldn't, but it was just too funny not to.

Last night, at New Conservatory Theater Center's annual Season Announcement Party for subscribers, donors, artists and press, NCTC Founder & Artistic Director Ed Decker announced the line-up for the 2016-17 subscription season, which marks the 35th anniversary of the company.
