Christian De Gre to Bring 'Burton-Esque' A DRINK WITH DEATH to Feinstein's/54 Below

Feinstein's/54 Below, Broadway's Supper Club, presents 2016 New York Innovative Theater Award Nominee Christian De Gre (Fatty Fatty No Friends) and award winning company Mind The Art Entertainment (Beware the Chupacabra & Whiskey Pants: The Mayor of Williamsburg) in a dark and twisted new song cycle about the horrors and wonders of death.

Theatre Community Reacts to Disparaging Wells Fargo Ad

Following in the footsteps of AT&T and Old Navy, Wells Fargo has become the latest business to draw the ire of arts professionals for running an advertisement that portrays the pursuit of the arts as inferior to sports and the sciences. The ad shows images of two different teens working on experiments as part of Wells Fargo's marketing for their upcoming Teen Day. The first is accompanied by the text, 'A ballerina yesterday. An engineer today,' while the second reads, 'An actor yesterday. A botanist today.' Both images are then followed by the sentence 'Let's get them ready for tomorrow,' printed in italicized letters.

Tom Jones & Nancy Ford Preview New Musical THE GAME OF LOVE in Miami Tonight

Broadway legends Tom Jones (The Fantasticks, I Do!, I Do! ) and Nancy Ford (I'm Getting My Act Together and Taking it on the Road) are bringing a sneak preview concert version of a new musical, 'The Game of Love', to South Florida tonight and tomorrow, April 5 and 6 at the Miracle Theatre in Coral Gables. Jones will direct, with Ford supervising the music.

Death Takes a Holiday... A GENTLEMAN'S GUIDE TO LOVE AND MURDER Sets Winter Closing on Broadway

Death is but the next great adventure for Broadway's A GENTLEMAN'S GUIDE TO LOVE AND MURDER. BroadwayWorld learned this evening that the Tony Award-winning Best Musical will play its final performance on the Great White Way on Sunday, January 17, 2016. Producer Joey Parnes announced the news today. The musical's record-breaking run at the Walter Kerr Theatre will have played nearly 1,000 performances on Broadway, and its Tony Award-winning star, Jefferson Mays, will have died more than 6,000 deaths as various members of the illfated D'Ysquith family.
