Performances will be held at the Drama Learning Center from August 5-14 (complete schedule is below). The Producers once again sets the standard for modern, outrageous, in-your-face humor. With a truly hysterical book co-written by Mel Brooks and Thomas Meehan (Annie) and music and lyrics by Mr. Brooks, The Producers skewers Broadway traditions and takes no prisoners as it proudly proclaims itself an 'equal opportunity offender!' The 2001 Broadway Production broke all records and won a record 12 Tony Awards - including BEST MUSICAL - More than any other musical EVER!

The Daytime Entertainment Emmy Awards will be broadcast from Las Vegas for the first time on June 27th, 2010 over the CBS Television Network. 'It is with great pleasure that the Daytime Emmy Awards returns to the CBS Network,' said Herb Granath, Chairman, NATAS. The Cornelia Street Café (29 Cornelia St.) hosts the New York Book Festival at 6 p.m. and Michael Bates' Outside Sources at 8:30 p.m. Admission to the New York Book Festival is free but patrons are encouraged to buy a book and visit the bar. There is a $10 cover for the Outside Sources.
