As first reported on TVLine.com, actor Jon Tenney of TNT's 'The Closer' is set to guest star in an upcoming episode of Aaron Sorkin's new HBO drama series, THE NEWSROOM.

According to Deadline, Aaron Sorkin's new HBO series finally has an official title- 'The Newsroom.' Set to star in the series is Jeff Daniels, Sam Waterston, John Gallagher Jr., Thomas Sadowski, Jane Fonda and Olivia Munn.

Kate Winslet and Jodi Foster star in the film adaptation of Yasmina Reza's Tony-winning play, God Of Carnage, under the direction of Roman Polanski. Reza has adapted her original script for the screen alongside Polanski.

The Purple Rose Theatre Company will kick off the 2011/12 Season with a revival of Escanaba in da Moonlight by Jeff Daniels.

Gerald Goehring, Michael F. Mitri and Dorothy Berloni are developing BECAUSE OF WINN-DIXIE, a new Broadway musical based on the popular 2000 novel by Kate DeCamillo. A developmental reading will be staged in early 2012, followed by an out of town engagement and Broadway production, the timing of which will be confirmed at a later date.

In partnership, Meijer and the Purple Rose Theatre Company will open the world of Shakespeare to young people in a two-week after school program at Chelsea Beach Middle School. Supported by a grant from Meijer, professional actors from the Purple Rose will use games, readings,writing exercises, improvisation and various acting techniques to bring the written word to life. 'Playing With Shakespeare' will make the Bard's work personal and relevant to middle school students, deepen their appreciation for the rich stories and characters, and give them a taste of how professional actors approach the text.

Roundabout Theatre Company (Todd Haimes, Artistic Director), in association with Damian Arnold, is pleased to announce the Broadway premiere of Marc Camoletti's classic farce Don't Dress For Dinner, adapted by Robin Hawdon, directed by John Tillinger. The cast will be announced soon. Don't Dress For Dinner will begin previews on March 30 and open officially on April 26, 2012 at the American Airlines Theatre on Broadway (227 West 42nd Street). Sony Pictures Classics's CARNAGE will be released in select theaters in New York and Los Angeles on December 16th, 2011. The upcoming film adaptation of Yasmina Reza's original play and Tony Award winning Broadway production GOD OF CARNAGE! is an ensemble cast of Jodie Foster, Kate Winslet, Christoph Waltz, and John C.
