Michael Potts, best known for his roles of Brother Mouzone in 'The Wire' and Mafala Hatimbi in The Book of Mormon, has returned to Chautauqua Theater Company (CTC) as Raif in CTC's THE PROFANE, a new play commissioned from the celebrated CTC New Play Workshop alum Zayd Dohrn (Sick - 2008, Muckrakers - 2012).

Chautauqua Theater Company (CTC) and the Chautauqua Writers' Center have proudly partnered on their third new play commission, coming July 22 to the Bratton Theater stage. This year's commission, The Profane, is written by the celebrated CTC New Play Workshop alum Zayd Dohrn (Sick - 2008, Muckrakers - 2012). Directed by CTC Artistic Director Vivienne Benesch and playing July 22 - 31 at the Chautauqua Institution. Tickets are $35 and are currently on sale.

The Playwrights' Center and Jerome Foundation are pleased to announce the 2016-17 Jerome Fellows, Many Voices Fellows and Many Voices Mentees. The Jerome Fellowship for emerging playwrights is the Jerome Foundation's longest-awarded program, entering its 40th year. The Many Voices Fellowship was created in 1994 in partnership with the Jerome Foundation and significantly expanded in 2013.

? LAZARUS SYNDROME, an acclaimed new comedy by Bruce Ward about the power of faith and family, is Richmond Triangle Players' entry into the city-wide Acts of Faith festival. The production opens Thursday, February 25 at 8 pm, following a low-priced preview on Wednesday, February 24 at 8 pm. RTP's production is the play's second, following its premiere at DC's Theatre Alliance in 2007.

In partnership with VSA-New York City, Marquis Studios proudly celebrates 'A Year In Pictures', an art exhibition featuring the work of NYC Public School children with disabilities. A private viewing and awards ceremony on November 24, 2015 from 11:30 AM - 12:30 PM, Pratt Manhattan Gallery (144 West 14th St, 2nd Floor, New York, NY) includes VSA Founder, Ambassador Jean Kennedy Smith and recognizes Mr. Clay Aiken, City Council Members, and student artists. This exhibit is part of the ongoing celebrations of VSA's 40th Anniversary, promoting art by and for people with disabilities.
