Roundabout Theatre Company's (Todd Haimes, Artistic Director) national tour of the 2011 Tony Award-winning Anything Goes celebrated its' 200th performance at Heinz Hall in Pittsburgh, PA yesterday Wednesday, April 18. The company celebrated with a welcoming curtain speech by director, choreographer & Pittsburgh native Kathleen Marshall and a beautiful cake following the performance. The national tour of ANYTHING GOES is coming to Heinz Hall from tonight, April 16-21, 2013.

David Mirvish will present the national tour of Roundabout Theatre Company's ANYTHING GOES, the new Broadway revival of Cole Porter's timeless classic musical theatre masterpiece. ANYTHING GOES plays a strictly limited engagement, July 17 - August 18 at the Princess of Wales Theatre. Tickets go on sale 9:00 AM on Monday April 15th.

The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts presents the national tour of Roundabout Theatre Company's Anything Goes in the Kennedy Center Opera House from June 11 to July 7, 2013. Winner of the 2011 Tony Award for Best Revival of a Musical, Roundabout Theatre Company's Anything Goes sails direct from Broadway under the direction of Kathleen Marshall, who won the 2011 Tony Award for Best Choreography. The production features music and lyrics by Cole Porter; original book by P.G. Wodehouse & Guy Bolton and Howard Lindsay & Russel Crouse; and new book by Timothy Crouse and John Weidman. Tickets go on public sale on Wednesday, April 3, 2013. Press opening night is Thursday, June 13, 2013 at 7:30 p.m.

In 1934, during the height of the Great Depression, Americans were looking for escapist entertainment and they found it in Cole Porter's frothy, screw-ball comedy, 'Anything Goes.'

BWW TV's own Michael Sterling and Jerry Evans of the JLE Media Group, were on hand for the official November 28, 2012 red carpet opening of the new Broadway revival of "Anything Goes," Cole Porter's timeless classic musical theatre masterpiece now on stage at the Center Theatre Group/Ahmanson Theatre through January 6, 2013. Due to the effects from Hurricane Sandy, the Tuesday and Wednesday performances of Anything Goes at the DuPont Theatre have been canceled. Performances scheduled Nov. 1-4 will go on as originally scheduled. A Sunday evening performance will also be added. This performance will be made available for sale on Wednesday.

If I were to die very soon, there's no doubt that I would go to heaven, because Rachel York and the all-singing/all-dancing company of Anything Goes took me and a couple of thousand other people up to the heavenly gates with their spectacular opening night performance of "Blow, Gabriel, Blow."
