American Ballet Theatre's 2019 Spring season at the Metropolitan Opera House, May 13 - July 6, will feature a World Premiere work by ABT Artist in Residence Alexei Ratmansky in programs dedicated entirely to his works in honor of the choreographer's 10th year with the Company.

Today, ArtPlace America announced that out of nearly 1,000 applicants, Double Edge Theatre, located on a 105-acre farm in Ashfield, Massachusetts, will receive $275,000 in funding through its 2017 National Creative Placemaking Fund.

In recognition of its distinctly imaginative approach and long-term commitment to 'creative placemaking' in its rural town of Ashfield in western Massachusetts, as well as on tour, Double Edge Theatre is receiving national recognition by the two leading granting programs in the field of creative placemaking.

ArtPlace America (ArtPlace) Executive Director Jamie L. Bennett announced $14.7 million in 55 grants to creative placemaking projects that will work in 79 communities of all sizes across 31 states. In these projects, the arts will play an explicit and intentional role in helping to shape communities' social, physical, and economic futures.

The National Association of Latino Arts and Cultures- NALAC announced today the names of the participants for their 14th Annual NALAC Leadership Institute that will take place July 14-19, 2014 at Our Lady of the Lake University in San Antonio, Texas. The Leadership Institute convenes Latino arts leaders for an intensive, one-week training in nonprofit arts management and leadership development. Anthony Rodriguez is one of the twenty-eight participants that will be part of the 2014 NALAC Leadership Institute.

Theatre Communications Group (TCG) convened 1,000 theatre practitioners from around the world at its 22nd National Conference June 21-23 in Boston. This year's conference was the culmination of TCG's 50th anniversary and the beginning of TCG's year-round conference and online community, Conference 2.0. The conference theme of Model the Movement invited attendees to transform their field into a movement for the digital age by better sharing, measuring and adapting models of making theatre. Executive Director Teresa Eyring also publically shared for the first time TCG's new vision statement.
