Menzel, Diggs, Law et al. Head to 'Sesame Street' This Season

According to published reports, stage vets Idina Menzel and hisband Taye Diggs, Jude Law, Kyra Sedgwick, Terrence Howard, and Jennifer Garner are among the celebrities that will be stopping by Sesame Street this upcoming season. Additional guests include Jason Bateman, Amy Poehler, Colin Farrell, Ryan Reynolds, Zoe Saldana, Wanda Sykes, Anna Faris, Katy Perry, Reverend Run, Usher, will.i.am, Reggie Bush, LaDainian Tomlinson and cast members from Grey's Anatomy, Modern Family, The View, Food Network, Today, The Insider and American Idol's Kara DioGuardi.

Yesterday, June 14, BJ Novack hosted the 14th Annual 'Webby Awards' at Cipriani, Wall Street in New York City. The 'Webby Awards' is the leading international award honoring excellence on the Internet. The Webbys were established in 1996 during the Web's infancy. They've played professional tennis, recited slam poetry, and pirouetted in a tutu, as well as acted classically, comedically and experimentally. But all have chosen to spend the last three years in New York City, two express subway stops from Broadway, following their dream and refining their craft as actors, directors or playwrights in the only Masters' theater program endorsed by the renowned Actors Studio.

The winners of the 2009 Directors Guild of America Outstanding Directorial Achievement Awards and the recipients of the Guild's 2010 Career Achievement Awards were announced last night during the 62nd Annual DGA Awards Dinner at the Hyatt Regency Century Plaza in Los Angeles. Kathryn Bigelow won the DGA's Outstanding Directorial Achievement in Feature Film for The Hurt Locker. Following the welcome by DGA President Taylor Hackford to an audience of more than 1,600 guests, director/actor Carl Reiner hosted the ceremony.
