The producers of Peter and the Starcatcher, the five-time Tony® Award-winning play by Rick Elice, will celebrate the 10th annual International Talk Like a Pirate Day on Wednesday, September 19th, with a special "Stache Day" in honor of their own pirate, Black Stache. On the morning of September 19th, the first 100 fans in line at the Brooks Atkinson Theatre (256 West 47th Street) with mustaches (real or fake!) will receive one free ticket for that evening's performance.

Producers Nancy Nagel Gibbs, Greg Schaffert, Eva Price and Tom Smedes announced today that Rick Elice's new play, Peter and the Starcatcher, will embark on a national tour, opening in August 2013 at the Ellie Caulkins Opera House in Denver, CO. Dubin, Buell and Mandingo have stepped outside the theater to "continue the conversation we start with this powerful show," says Dubin, a TONY award-winning producer. The three have been seen connecting with many different communities - making African masks with an afterschool class in Newburgh, NY; writing poetry with the women in residence and the high school girls at the YWCA White Plains; to presenting the play to over 200 prisoners and staff inside Sing Sing Correctional Facility.
