TOSOS in Association with Emerging Artists Theatre presents DAMAGED GOODS

Award-winning TOSOS, New York City's oldest professional LGBTQ theater, returns with the second full length production of their 2016-17 season with Virginia Baeta's Damaged Goods. The production is directed by Mark Finley (Penny Penniworth/Off-Broadway), and reunites the cast of the 2010 hit FringeNYC/Fringe Encore Series, The Secretaries written by The Five Lesbian Brothers. The critically acclaimed cast won an Overall Excellence Award at FringeNYC.

NNPN Commission HARBUR GATE by Kathleen Cahill to Debut at Salt Lake Acting Company

National New Play Network, the country's alliance of nonprofit theaters that champions the development, production, and continued life of new plays, announces the World Premiere of its 2012-13 Annual Commission, Harbur Gate by Kathleen Cahill, at Core Member Salt Lake Acting Company (SLAC). The Commission, which was awarded to Ms. Cahill in collaboration with Salt Lake Acting Company, will receive its first professional production from February 8-March 12.

Alicia Haymer directs the Nashville premiere of Detroit '67 by Dominique Morisseau, as Actors Bridge Ensemble's 21st Season continues February 24-March 4, at the Darkhorse Theater.

The Huntington Continues Commitment to Play Development with the 2016 BREAKING GROUND FESTIVAL

The Huntington Theatre Company's 2016 Breaking Ground festival of new plays will be held December 1 - 4 at the Huntington's home for new work, the Calderwood Pavilion at the BCA. The festival is a vital part of the Huntington's new play development efforts and highlights the work of locally-based Huntington Playwriting Fellows and national writers in partnership with the Huntington. Over the last decade, Breaking Ground plays have gone on to appear at the Huntington as well as theatres in Boston, across the country, and internationally.

New York Premiere of MJ Kaufman's SAGITTARIUS PONDEROSA Enters Final Week at NAATCO

The OBIE Award-winning NAATCO, National Asian American Theater Company, concludes their 25th anniversary season with the New York Premiere of MJ Kaufman's Sagittarius Ponderosa. Ken Rus Schmoll directs an all-Asian American cast that includes Daniel K. Isaac (of TV's 'Billions'), Mia Katigbak, Glenn Kubota, Bex Kwan and Virginia Wing. This Off-Broadway limited engagement at 3LD (80 Greenwich Street at Rector) will continue through November 19th only.

MA RAINEY'S BLACK BOTTOM to Host Pre-Show Conversations at the Taper

Center Theatre Group's Community Conversations for August Wilson's 'Ma Rainey's Black Bottom' will feature two pre-show panel discussions on September 21 and 30 from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at The Music Center Annex building, 601 W. Temple Street, in rehearsal room 'A.'
