CINEMAX has confirmed the debut date for QUARRY, with the eight-episode season of the drama series to launch FRIDAY, SEPT. 9 (10:00-11:00 p.m. ET/PT).

Felicia Pearson returns to the big screen as she co-stars in Spike Lee's newest joint, 'CHIRAQ'. The Baltimore-born actress is best known for her breakout role in HBO hit series, “The Wire”.

Amazon today announced it will premiere all ten episodes of its first hour-long drama series BOSCH today, February 13 on Prime Instant Video in the US, UK and Germany.

Production will begin March 30 on the eight-episode CINEMAX drama series QUARRY, it was announced by Michael Lombardo, president, HBO Programming. Based on the novels of Max Allan Collins, the show will be directed and executive produced by Greg Yaitanes (CINEMAX's Emmy-winning “Banshee”; Emmy winner for directing “House, M.D.”), along with executive producer Steve Golin (HBO's Emmy-nominated “True Detective”). QUARRY is created and executive produced by Graham Gordy & Michael D. Fuller (“Rectify”).

For 23 years the NAACP Beverly Hills/Hollywood branch has produced a star-studded gala honoring thespians for their astonishing achievement in entertainment and theatre.
