DRG Records Set to Release Recording of Jane Krakowski: Live at Feinstein's, 3/23

DRG Records is releasing a recording of Jane Krakowski's nightclub debut at Feinstein's at Loews Regency. The recording is set to be released on March 23 and will be available in all major online and retail outlets. The show, which played the famed Fienstein's at Lowes Regency from October 6 through October 17, featured songs popularized by female performers who have inspired her such as Anita O'Day, Ann-Margret and Eartha Kitt.

The Kennedy Center today announced a one-time-only performance with Tony Award-winning actress and singer Jane Krakowski on October 3, 2009 at 7:30 p.m. in the Terrace Theater. The evening is part of Barbara Cook's Spotlight, which features theater cabaret performances throughout the 2009-2010 season by Broadway artists chosen by Barbara Cook.

MONTY PYTHON'S SPAMALOT Opens At Ahmanson Theater 7/7

'Monty Python's Spamalot,' the popular musical lovingly ripped-off from the internationally famous comedy team's most popular motion picture, 'Monty Python and the Holy Grail,' will open Center Theatre Group's 2009-2010 at the Ahmanson Theatre of the Los Angeles Music Center, July 7 through September 6, 2009, it was announced today by CTG Artistic Director Michael Ritchie. The Ahmanson production marks the first time the international hit comedy will be presented in Los Angeles. John O'Hurley will star as King Arthur. Directed by Mike Nichols, 'Monty Python's Spamalot' features a book by Eric Idle, based on the screenplay of 'Monty Python and the Holy Grail' by Monty Python creators Graham Chapman, John Cleese, Terry Gilliam, Eric Idle, Terry Jones and Michael Palin, with music and lyrics by the Grammy Award-winning team of Idle and John Du Prez. Casey Nicholaw is the choreographer. 'Monty Python's Spamalot' is the winner of three 2005 Tony Awards including Best Musical and Best Director, as well as the Drama Desk and Outer Critics Circle Awards for Best Musical. The original cast recording of 'Monty Python's Spamalot' won the 2006 Grammy Award for Best Musical Show Album.

SPAMALOT With John O'Hurley Returns To Denver 5/13-17

The Tony Award-winning Best Musical of 2005, Monty Python's SPAMALOT, will return to Denver's Buell Theater for a limited one-week engagement May 13-17 starring John O'Hurley as King Arthur. Tickets go on sale Sunday, March 29 at 10am.

Patricia Resnick On The Kentertainment Report Sirius/XM 4/23

Ken Kleiber of 'That's Kentertainment!' will be welcoming Patricia Resnick (bookwriter of '9 to 5 The Musical') as a guest on 'The Kentertainment Report' segment of the 'Frank DeCaro Show' Thursday April 23rd at Noon on Sirius/XM Satellite Radio, Channel 109. Resnick, also the co-screenwriter of the film '9 to 5', will discuss the upcoming Broadway opening of '9 to 5' The Musical plus other projects inlcuding a Nick, Jr. series she recently wrote and Executive-Produced, plus a new memoir she is currently penning. And, as a happy coincidence, Ms. Resnick wrote the Dolly Parton/James Woods vehicle 'Straight Talk', a film which happens to contain the first on-screen appearance of Ken Kleiber! In celebration of the 400th anniversary of the year Galileo first turned his telescope upward and changed the way human beings thought of their place in the cosmos, Catalyst Collaborative @ MIT and Underground Railway Theater present Bertolt Brecht's The Life of Galileo! Playing Friday, April 10 through Sunday, May 17 at Central Square Theater, this production of The Life of Galileo, Brecht's widely acclaimed masterpiece of science theater, is translated by David Hare, directed by David Wheeler, and stars Boston area favorite Richard McElvain in the title role. Press night is set for Thursday, April 16 at 7:30 PM.
