The album is being released following a hugely successful run at Southwark Playhouse, directed by Luke Sheppard in Summer 2017. This will be the first recording of WORKING since the Original Broadway Cast Recording in 1978 and will feature never before released tracks by Lin-Manuel Miranda. WWII Medal of Honor Recipient to Flip Coin at Super Bowl LII

World War II Veteran, Hershel 'Woody' Williams, the last surviving Medal of Honor recipient from the Pacific theater during WWII, and co-founder of the Hershel 'Woody' Williams Medal of Honor Foundation, is gearing up to toss the coin before the kickoff of Super Bowl LII this Sunday. This will be part of a special tribute honoring those who have received the Medal of Honor, our nation's highest award for valor that can be bestowed upon an individual serving in the U.S. Armed Services.
Orchestra Of St. Luke's Announces 2018-19 Carnegie Hall Season

Orchestra of St. Luke's (OSL) 2018-2019 Subscription Series presented by Carnegie Hall, will open on October 25, 2018, with Bernard Labadie on the podium for his official debut as Principal Conductor of the Orchestra. Works of Haydn are the thematic thread to this 32nd Carnegie Hall subscription season and the three programs will also feature works by younger contemporaries and 20th-century composers he influenced. The program, for the first of three concerts, pairs two great masterworks of the choral repertoire, Haydn's Mass in D Minor, Hob. XXII: 11, 'Nelson Mass,' and Mozart's Requiem, K. 626.La Chapelle de Quebec, the choir founded and directed by Maestro Labadie, makes its first appearance with OSL, joined by guest soloists German tenor Lothar Odinius, French-Canadian bass-baritone Philippe Sly, and acclaimed American mezzo-soprano Susan Graham.
North Charleston Coliseum Celebrates Twenty-Five Years of Live Entertainment in 2018

On January 29, 1993, the Lowcountry entertainment scene changed forever. On this date, the North Charleston Coliseum opened its doors for the first time. The show was World Figure Skating Champions featuring Olympic champions Elizabeth Manley and Marina Klimova & Sergio Ponomarenko. The next night, country music superstars Alan Jackson and Lorrie Morgan took the stage for the first concert in the Coliseum. Both shows had capacity crowds and the Lowcountry finally had a world class entertainment venue. In the years following, the biggest names in music and entertainment would make North Charleston a regular stop on their world tours.

The program includes Schumann's Dichterliebe; Berg's Four Songs, Op. 2; Wolf's Three Poems of Michelangelo; selections from Shostakovich's Suite, Op. 145; and Brahms's Vier ernste Ges nge, Op. 121.

Broadway in Fort Lauderdale, and Bank of America present the NETworks Presentations national tour of A Gentleman's Guide to Love & Murder at the Broward Center for the Performing Arts. With a book and lyrics by Robert L. Freedman and music and lyrics by Steven Lutvak, the musical comedy is based on the 1907 novel Israel Rank: The Autobiography of a Criminal by Roy Horniman, which was also the source for the 1949 British film Kind Hearts and Coronets.
