Victory Gardens announces the 50 playwrights who will participate in The Chicago One-Minute Play Festival as a benefit for the Victory Gardens Fresh Squeezed series. The event will be held in the Zacek-McVay Theater at the Victory Gardens Biograph Theater, 2433 N. Lincoln Avenue in Lincoln Park on May 15 and 16, 2011, at 7:30pm.

As Bees in Honey Drown is coming to the Shimberg Playhouse this season. The theater is located at the David A. Straz, Jr. Center at 1010 N. W.C. MacInnes Place, Tampa, Florida. The show will play July 8-25. It will begin at 8PM Thursdays - Saturdays and Sundays at 4PM. Ticket Prices are $24.50 and $10 for Students and Seniors. Heiress Productions (www.heiressproductions.org), a not-for-profit theatre company dedicated to raising awareness and funds for cancer organizations through live performance, is pleased to announce that on March 19th, 2011 proceeds from the company's recent run of Critical Mass by Joanne Sydney Lessner were presented to The Lustgarten Foundation, the nation's largest private funder of pancreatic cancer research based in Bethpage, New York.
