Syfy will celebrate the holiday season with its second annual Countdown to Christmas Week (December 4-10) featuring the two night miniseries Neverland, stand-alone holiday episodes of hit series Eureka, Warehouse 13, Haven and Ghost Hunters, and the Saturday Original Movie Snowmageddon.
Edward James Olmos is an actor, producer, director and community activist. He will be the guest speaker at The Grand Theatre on Wednesday, November 9 from 6:30-8:30 p.m. Mr. Olmos' presentation will be in English. Audience members will have the opportunity to ask questions of Mr. Olmos in both English and Spanish. The event is free and open to the public and is located at The Grand Theatre, Salt Lake Community College, 1575 South State Street. Parking is available behind the building.

The New Frontier Story Lab has selected Question Bridge as part of the five project teams to attend. The lab will focus on supporting projects that have original stories and engage audiences in innovative ways, across multiple platforms. Organized as an immersive lab experience, activities will include individualized story sessions, conversations about key artistic, design and technology issues, and case study presentations. Drawing talent and expertise from all of Sundance Institute's creative programs, including Feature Film, Documentary Film, and the Sundance Film Festival, the Lab has been planned under the supervision of Michelle Satter, Director of the Sundance Institute Feature Film Program.

'Let The Rain,' the new single from singer/songwriter Margo Rey will be digitally released on the Organica Music Group Record Label on August 16, 2011. 'Let The Rain' was co-written by Margo Rey and John Oates. This will be the first release from Rey's forthcoming CD which will feature additional songs written by Rey and Oates. The album was produced by Margo Rey, Michael Blakey and Elton Ahi.

Last night, June 27, the off-broadway theater scene became a bit richer with the advent of The Magdalene, a musical play about Mary Magdalene composed by James Olm with a book by Mr. Olm and J.C. Hanley. Tony Award winner Richard Maltby, Jr. served as the Creative Consultant on the production, which was directed by Richard Burk. Previews began on June 14.
