City Circle Acting Company of Coralville announces its 2014-2015 season, featuring exhilarating musicals, exciting family-friendly fare, and farcical comedy. All performances will be held at City Circle's home theater, the Coralville Center for the Performing Arts, located at 1301 5th Street in Coralville.

Lincoln Center Theater will soon present Act One, a play written and directed by James Lapine from the autobiography by Moss Hart. The production is scheduled to begin previews Thursday, March 20 and open on Thursday, April 17 at the Vivian Beaumont Theater (150 West 65 Street). Seward County Community College/Area Technical School Theatre Department has announced their production of Into the Woods, a Tony Award Winning Production with a score by Stephen Sondheim and book by James Lapine. Audiences of all ages are sure to enjoy this Tony-award-winning witty and irreverent reimagining of classic fairytales. An ambivalent Cinderella? A blood-thirsty Little Red Riding Hood? Classic Stage Company, under the leadership of Artistic Director Brian Kulick and Executive Director Greg Reiner, today announced plans for its 2014/2015 Season. The upcoming season for the esteemed off-Broadway company begins in October with Rodgers & Hammerstein's ALLEGRO, directed by Tony Award-winner and CSC Associate Director John Doyle. ALLEGRO marks the second installment of CSC's Musical Theater Initiative, which launched last year with the company's hugely-successful production of Stephen Sondheim and James Lapine's Passion, directed by Doyle.
