'The Amish Project', which is written and performed by Jessica Dickey, and directed by Sarah Cameron Sunde, is a one-person play inspired by the tragedy at the Nickel Mines Amish Settlement in 2006. Imbued with poetry and humor, the show explores a community grappling with loss and faith. Cherry Lane plans to produce the world premier in April.

The Cherry Lane Theatre announces that based on overwhelming critical accolades as well as audience response, performances of Edward Albee's The American Dream and The Sandbox have been extended until Saturday, May 17th. The production was originally scheduled to close April 19th. Additionally, Outer Critics Circle and Lortel nominated and 'Star Trek:Voayager' star Kate Mulgrew will be replacing Judith Ivey who aready had other commitments.
