On Wednesday, March 25, Cherry Lane opened its newest theatre The Cherry Pit on Bank Street, with the Off-Broadway premiere of Deirdre O'Connor's play JAILBAIT -- about two fifteen-year-old girls who spend a night at a Boston club posing as college students.

Directed by Suzanne Agins, the cast of playwright Deirdre O'Connor's JAILBAIT includes Kelly AuCoin, Peter O'Connor, Natalia Payne, and Wrenn Schmidt.

Guests for opening night included: actress Tamara Tunie ("As the World Turns"), actor Geoffrey Nauffts (CAINE MUTINY COURT-MARTIAL), creator and producer of TV's "Home Improvement" Matt Williams, Dave Dalton, Cherry Lane Artisitic Director Angelina Fiordellisi, Cherry Lane Managing Director James King, and others.
