This brand new weekly open mic night premieres October 3rd and is highly recommended for show-tune lovers, Broadway enthusiasts, 'Gleeks', fans of Charles Nelson Reilly, and anyone who ever wanted to do their own dream ballet. Broadway's Robert Cuccioli will be making his Fienstien's debut on October 11 at 8:30pm. His show, A Standard Love, is a very unstandard look at love through the music of Sammy Cahn, Cole Porter, George Gershwin, Jerome Kern, Johnny Mercer, Richard Rodgers and others. On Monday, September 20, Jay Armstrong Johnson made his solo concert debut as part of the Broadway at Birdland series. The house was packed with Broadway heavy hitters, including Hair co-author James Rado, Sara Gettelfinger, Todrick Hall, Jason Michael Snow and Alex Brightman.

Broadway In Chicago and the producers of WORKING have announced casting for the upcoming production, which begins previews on February 15, 2011 at the Broadway Playhouse at Water Tower Place (175 E. Chestnut). WORKING will star Chicagoans E. Faye Butler, Barbara Robertson and Gene Weygandt. Additional casting will be announced at a later date.

North Coast REP presents a full evening of soulful, acoustic music that you will no doubt leave you spellbound! Indie singers/songwriters, Jenn Grinels and Meghan Andrews, will be in concert one night only on Monday, September 20th.
