Off Broadway Close Up presents a lively overview of the great legacy of Off-Broadway musicals, including The Fantasticks, Jacques Brel ..., Dames At Sea, Godspell and Little Shop of Horrors as well as more recent shows like The Last Five Years, The Kid and Yank! Hosted by Sean Hartley, this concert celebrates the vibrant, creative world of Off-Broadway-an adventurous, up-close and intimate theater experience and a place to see new artists break new ground and find their voices.

St. Louis-based group, Elsie Parker and The Poor People of Paris, specializes in popular French music. Elsie Parker, the group's founder, became enchanted with the voice and songs of Edith Piaf and performs many of her early works, as well as songs associated with Hervé Vilard, Mireille Mathieu, Michael Legrand, Patricia Kaas, Jacques Brel, Eddy Mitchell, Vanessa Paradis, and Sylvie Bernard, as well as her own original material.

Marin Theatre Company announces the world premiere of 9 Circles, the newest play by Equivocation playwright Bill Cain. 9 Circles is the riveting story of a young American soldier on trial for his life. San Francisco favorite Kent Nicholson returns to the Bay Area to direct 9 Circles in MTC's intimate 99-seat Lieberman Theatre. 9 Circles runs October 14 through November 7, 2010. Opening night is October 19.
