freeFall's A CHRISTMAS CAROL Set for 11/30-12/24

A freeFall holiday tradition continues with Keith Ferguson's and Bruce Greer's enchanting new musical adaptation of the Dickens classic. With a soaring and inspirational score, and faithful incarnations of all of the memorable characters, Dickens' ghost story leaps from the page and delights with stunning theatricality, lush scenery & costumes, and surprising special effects. Plan early to get your seats for this perfect holiday outing. A Christmas Carol, will run November 30 thru December 24, 2013. Special holiday performances have been added on Monday December 23 and Tuesday December 24 (Christmas Eve) in order for patrons to share this holiday classic with their family and friends visiting for the holidays.

Aurora Theatre to Present A CHRISTMAS CAROL & 12 DATES OF CHRISTMAS this Season

Aurora Theatre is giving patrons what they have been asking for-more holiday programing. In addition to the perennial favorite one-man A Christmas Carol, featuring Anthony P. Rodriguez, Aurora adds a hilariously irreverent one-woman show, The 12 Dates of Christmas. These shows will run for a limited 3-week engagement December 5-22 in repertory. Tickets are $15 to each show. Showtimes vary. See both shows with the Combo Ticket for only $25. The Combo Ticket is good for any combination of 2 shows you choose. The holidays are twice as nice when you get two tickets for one low price.

Kari Ginsburg to Lead NextStop's 12 DATES OF CHRISTMAS; Cast Announced for CHRISTMAS CAROL

NextStop Theatre Company's 2013-2014 season continues with the holiday repertory performances of Jacob Marley's Christmas Carol and The 12 Dates of Christmas Performances begin on December 3rd and 4th, respectively, at the Industrial Strength Theatre in Herndon. Celebrated DC actor Ray Ficca (President, The National Academy of Dramatic Arts) will take on the role of Jacob Marley while DC actress Kari Ginsburg will star as Mary in The 12 Dates of Christmas.

Cincinnati Playhouse to Present A CHRISTMAS CAROL, 11/27-12/29

The spirits of Christmas Past, Present and Future converge on the Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park as U.S. Bank presents Charles Dickens' iconic holiday story, A CHRISTMAS CAROL. The beloved tale of a miserly humbug's redemption, enjoyed each season by multiple generations of Cincinnatians, will be performed for its 23rd year in the Playhouse's Robert S. Marx Theatre from Nov. 27 through Dec. 29.

Cape May Stage to Present Jacob Marley's CHRISTMAS CAROL, 11/29-12/29

Jacob Marley's Christmas Carol will run from Friday, November 29 to Sunday, December 29 at the Robert Shackleton Playhouse located in downtown Cape May on the corner of Lafayette and Bank Streets. Performances are at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, and at 3 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. Tickets are $35 for adults, $30 seniors (62+) and $15 students. There is no half-price preview performance for this production; the official opening night will be Friday, November 29. A special half-price senior matinee will take place on Sunday, December 8 and there will be a special "pay-what-you-can" matinee at 3 p.m. on Saturday, December 14. Marin Theatre Now Booking for 2014 School Tour of RAPUNZEL, 1/13-2/7

Marin Theatre Company is now booking for its 2014 School Tour of Rapunzel, written by Mike Kenny, directed by Daunielle Rasmussen, MTC's Director of Education, and featuring actors Tristan Cunningham, Britney Frazier and Julianna Rees. Now in its seventh year, MTC's School Tour program brings professional theater productions to Bay Area elementary schools and libraries. Gulfshore Playhouse announces a call for submissions for their Second Annual New Works Festival to take place in late summer 2014. The New Works Festival will bring together four playwrights and a team of actors and directors for a week-long festival in which each playwright will hone their play and then present their work to an audience.

A CHRISTMAS CAROL Returns For 20th Year at Maryland Ensemble Theatre, 12/20-22

Charles Dickens' classic A Christmas Carol is returning to Frederick for the twentieth straight year with Maryland Ensemble Theatre's production December 20 through 22 at the Weinberg Center for the Arts. The cast of over two dozen actors portraying the ghosts of Christmas Past, Present and Future will transport audiences to Victorian England as the penny-pinching Ebenezer Scrooge learns the error of his miserly ways and embraces the true spirit of Christmas. 'We really do feel like it's a holiday gift we can give to our community,' said the show's director Julie Herber. 'The spirit of the show is infectious, the energy we feel greeting the audience after the show is always so cheerful and heartwarming.'
