Carrollwood Players Theatre to Step into the Holiday Season with SCROOGE, THE MUSICAL

A CHRISTMAS CAROL Returns to Frederick for 22nd Year

Charles Dickens' classic "A Christmas Carol" is returning to Frederick for the twenty-second straight year with Maryland Ensemble Theatre's production at the Weinberg Center for the Arts. The cast of over two dozen actors portraying the ghosts of Christmas Past, Present, Future and Tiny Tim will transport audiences to Victorian England as the penny-pinching Ebenezer Scrooge learns the error of his miserly ways and embraces the true spirit of Christmas.

Ford's Theatre Presents Annual A CHRISTMAS CAROL

?The Ford's Theatre 2015-2016 season continues with A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens and adapted by Michael Wilson, November 19 to December 31, 2015. Celebrated Washington stage actor Edward Gero returns for the seventh year to play Ebenezer Scrooge in the production The Washington Post hailed as "musically high-spirited" and "infectiously jolly."

Actors' Conservatory Theatre Presents A CHRISTMAS CAROL

e award-winning Actors' Conservatory Theatre (ACT-San Diego, www.actsandiego.com) presents an adaptation of Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol, with a 31 member youth and young adult cast. The production is Directed by Bernard Baldan, with Musical Direction by Desha Crownover and Choreography by Erin Petersen. Performances will be held at the Lyceum Theatre, 79 Horton Plaza, San Diego, 92101 from December 11 through December 20, 2015.

Just in time for the holidays, 42nd Street Moon presents the return of everyone's favorite Yuletide sourpuss in the World Premiere of SCROOGE IN LOVE!, a fun, high-spirited follow-up to A Christmas Carol. Starring Broadway's Jason Graae (last seen at 42nd Street Moon in Little Me) in the title role, SCROOGE IN LOVE! follows Ebenezer Scrooge one year after his life changed for the better, although he still feels something is missing. Directed by Dyan McBride, SCROOGE IN LOVE! will run November 25-December 13, 2015 (Press opening: Saturday, November 28) at the Eureka Theatre, 215 Jackson Street, San Francisco. Cincinnati Playhouse to Stage A CHRISTMAS CAROL

The Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park's joyous, time-honored celebration of the true spirit of the holidays achieves the quarter-century mark this season as U.S. Bank presents Charles Dickens' iconic story A CHRISTMAS CAROL. The beloved tale, enjoyed each season by multiple generations of Cincinnatians, will be performed for its 25th year in the Playhouse's Robert S. Marx Theatre from Nov. 25 through Dec. 30.

Uptown Underground to Offer Holiday-Themed Retrotainment

Uptown Underground, 4707 N. Broadway, celebrates the season like none other with chill-warming craft cocktails in a cozy speakeasy environment featuring retrotainment from burlesque and magic to cabaret and circus arts six nights a week. Featured performers include The Kiss Kiss Cabaret, Chicago Magic Lounge, Brass Chuckles Comedy, The Cabaret Project, Boy Toy's Pocket Cabaret, Pervesk' Burlesk', Muffy Fishbasket's Drag Nights, Acrobatica Infiniti and many others. Nightly cover charge ranges from $5 to $40 and includes a full evening of entertainment. Columbus Children's Theatre to Present MR. SCROOGE

Columbus Children's Theatre will present Mr. Scrooge November 27-December 20, 2015 at Park Street Theatre located at 512 Park Street. This production is directed by William Goldsmith, with Assistant Directors Chris Rusen and George Bailey. Book by William Goldsmith, Music and Lyrics by Janet Yates Vogt and Mark Friedman, and Based on Charles Dickens 'A Christmas Carol.' Mr. Scrooge is a one-act musical with no intermission and runs approximately 60 minutes. This production is recommended for ages 4 and older.
