BroadwayWorld has just learned that there will be a 25th Anniversary International Production of JEKYLL AND HYDE next year, and Broadway veterans Anthony Warlow, Jackie Burns, and Teal Wicks are currently leading a reading of the new production.

IF/THEN, which was named the "Best Musical of the Year" by New York Magazine, will play its final Broadway performance on Sunday, March 22 at 3:00pm. Upon closing, the musical will have played 29 previews and 401 performances. It's that time of year, and everyone is making their lists. For me, this task is always harder than it probably should be. I wrestle with myself and debate the merits of everything. I worry about who might get their feelings hurt, and whom I may accidentally overlook. So, for 2014, I promised myself to make a simple list of the 10 albums from 2014 that I simply couldn't get enough of. Naturally, that list is actually 15 items long. (Surprise!)

As 2014 comes to a close, it seems only fitting to look back on the craziest moments of this year- and there were many. From the cancellations of major productions to onstage flubs and unpredictable audience behavior, 2014 was nothing if not buzz-worthy. Below, BroadwayWorld invites you to recall the most bizarre, ridiculous and peculiar things that happened on Broadway this year.

Idina Menzel was among the honorees at the 2014 Billboard Women in Music Awards, handed out yesterday, Dec. 12 in New York City. The IF/THEN star was honored with the Breakthrough Artist of the Year award, a brand new honor added to the ceremony now in its ninth year - in addition, Menzel honored by members of A BroaderWay Choir, who sang a 'Defying Gravity/Let it Go,' mashup. TONY Award winner LaChanze stopped by this week's Backstage on Broadway to talk with PIX 11's Tamsen Fadal about starring in the new Broadway musical IF/THEN.

The 26th Annual Festival of New Musicals, presented by the National Alliance For Musical Theatre (NAMT), kicked off with THE 46TH MINUTE, a concert hosted by Lindsay Mendez and featuring performances by Heidi Blickenstaff, Doreen Montalvo, Mamie Parris, Bryce Ryness, and more. Musical presentations started October 23 at New World Stages (340 West 50th Street) and included Beautiful Poison, Cubamor, Great Wall, How To Break, Mary Marie, The Noteworthy Life of Howard Barnes, String and Stu For Silverton.
