Former 'Saturday Night Live' and Comedy Central star Colin Quinn will move his one-man show Colin Quinn Long Story Short, directed by Jerry Seinfeld, to Broadway's Helen Hayes Theatre for an 11-week limited engagement. Preview performances began on Friday, October 22nd and will officially open on Tuesday, November 9th. The production will play through Saturday, January 8th. Jack Thomas, currently a producer of the hit Off-Broadway play Freud's Last Session and Broadway's Colin Quinn Long Story Short, will be presenting an exhibition of painter Charlotte Lichtblau's paintings and drawings, beginning this Saturday, October 23rd at the 8th Floor Space, a private gallery located at 17 West 17th Street. The show, entitled A WORLD OF ITS OWN, runs through October 31st with admission daily from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM. This exhibition is curated by Bruce Payne. FREUD'S LAST SESSION, a new play by Mark St. Germain (Camping with Henry and Tom), opened July 22nd for a limited engagement through November 28th at the Marjorie S. Deane Little Theater, 10 West 64th Street (at Central Park West). The Off-Broadway premiere of FREUD'S LAST SESSION stars Mark H. Dold as C.S. Lewis and Martin Rayner as Sigmund Freud, under the direction of Tyler Marchant.
