In keeping with the general Halloween atmosphere, Class Act Books is releasing four new novels this month, all with a mystery-thriller theme. Each book is also a new entry in a series.
"Shadow Revealed" by Tony-Paul de Vissage heads the list. This novel is number 8 in the Second Species series which will complete next month with the ninth and final entry. "Death is Magical" by RW Weiss, is another Hugh Winslow mystery, set in Lodgepole, Montana. Bringing more of that town's quirky characters and unusual happenings, this story ties together the death of a racehorse and jockey in England with the murder of one of Lodgepole's long-time residents. It is the fourth in the series.
