Mariah Carey, Miranda Cosgrove, Annie Lennox, Maxwell and Matthew Morrison are scheduled to join host Ellen DeGeneres as TNT rings in the holidays with its annual presentation of CHRISTMAS IN WASHINGTON. This year's spectacular holiday presentation will premiere Friday, Dec. 17, at 8 p.m. (ET/PT).

According to IMDB, film star Jack Black wants to take his new movie to Broaway with his co-star Shirley Maclaine. The new movie is tentatively called 'Bernie and is about 'a mortician from Texas who strikes up a friendship with a wealthy widow. When he kills her, he goes to great lengths to create the illusion that she's alive.'

IFC announced today that the network will return The Larry Sanders Show, The Ben Stiller Show, Mr. Show with Bob and David? and Action to their loyal TV fans in the New Year. The comedy series will join previously acquired viewer favorites Monty Python's Flying Circus, Arrested Development, Freaks and Geeks and Undeclared. The new comedies will also complement IFC's January 2011 original series premieres: Onion News Network, the first television series from America's most trusted news organization, and Portlandia, a scripted comedy series from Fred Armisen and Carrie Brownstein.
