Now celebrating 13 glorious years of girls, glitz, and glamour on the Great White Way, CHICAGO, the record-breaking, smash hit musical and sixth longest-running production in Broadway history, will make a stop in Columbus at the Palace Theatre as part of its national tour.

Phil Collins will be the recipient of the annual Johnny Mercer Award at the 2010 Songwriters Hall of Fame. Collins will receive the award on June 17th at a ceremony at the Marriott Marquis Hotel in New York City.

Offering up greater variety, including more than 50 debuts from Sting to Wagnerian tenor John Treleaven, Ravinia Festival Chairperson Pamela B. Strobel and President and CEO Welz Kauffman today announced details of the 2010 season, including a Chicago Symphony Orchestra residency that celebrates major anniversaries of Mahler, Chopin, Schumann, Barber, Bernstein and Copland, as well as milestone birthdays of Music Director James Conlon, Christoph Eschenbach and Stephen Sondheim. The season, featuring 117 separate events, runs from June 3 through September 7.

Broadway's Meredith Patterson, Emmy nominated Musical Director Rob Berman, and pianist Ross Patterson have been collaborating and developing material for Sweet Old Fashioned Girl since the summer of 2009. They will bring the concert to Birdland on March 15, 2010 at 7pm. Sweet Old Fashioned Girl promises to be a fresh and exciting evening of jazz standards. Drawing from childhood memories with her jazz percussionist father, Patterson's sound is lush and rich bringing together her musical theatre background with her jazz roots.

The 2010 Olivier Awards will take place on 21 March 2010 at the Grosvenor House Hotel, with Spring Awakening, Enron, Jerusalem and A Little Night Music among the standouts of the season with the most nominations. The Laurence Olivier Awards were established in 1976 as The Society of West End Theatre Awards, and Lord Olivier agreed to have his name associated with them in 1984. The Awards are run by The Society of London Theatre but are adjudicated by panels that are equally made up of members of the theatregoing public and experts chosen for their knowledge and professional experience. Writers' Theatre Artistic Director Michael Halberstam and Executive Director Kathryn M. Lipuma announce the second extension of Oh Coward!, words and music by Noel Coward, devised by Roderick Cook. The production, which began its run in November 2009 is directed by Jim Corti, with musical direction by Doug Peck. The production has been extended through April 18, 2010, at Writers' Theatre, 664 Vernon Avenue in Glencoe.

Goodspeed Musicals, the only two time Tony Award winning theatre in the country, is fired up to announce the cast of Irving Berlin's Annie Get Your Gun. This wild west musical from the director who brought you Goodspeed's 1776 and Camelot will run from April 16 - June 27 at the Goodspeed Opera House in East Haddam, Conn.

The Music Division of the Library of Congress will present the 1934 Harold Arlen/Ira Gershwin/Yip Harburg musical revue 'Life Begins at 8:40' in concert, its first live performance in 75 years, in the Library's Coolidge Auditorium at 10 First St., S.E., Washington, D.C., on Monday, March 22, 2010, at 8 p.m. Aaron Gandy will conduct the cast of 25 and the 24-piece orchestra.
