The mainstage productions are Deathtrap, Ira Levin's comic thriller (August 23 to September 23); The Crucifer of Blood, a Sherlock Holmes mystery by Paul Giovanni (October 4 to November 25); Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol, adapted by Nagle Jackson (December 6-24); the Nunsense sequel Meshuggah-Nuns! by Dan Goggins (December 27 to January 27); the world premiere of Strictly Platonic, a comedy by local playwright Larry McKenna (February 7 to March 3); the classic French farce A Flea in Her Ear by Georges Feydeau (March 14 to April 28) and an original adaptation of Jane Austen's masterpiece Pride and Prejudice (May 9 to June 16).

Bristol Riverside Theatre presents Say Goodnight Gracie starring Alan Safier in what's being described as 'a one-man tour-de-force performance' as George Burns at Bristol Riverside Theatre on August 3-5. Ira Levin's classic comedy thriller Deathtrap is set to return to the Davidson/Valenti Theatre for six weeks only, opening on Friday, September 21 and running through Sunday, October 28. Directed by Ken Sawyer, Deathtrap recently enjoyed a ten week sold out run at the Davidson/Valenti Theatre, located at the L.A. Gay & Lesbian Center in Hollywood. Net proceeds will benefit the entire array of the Center's free and low-cost programs and services.

Clayton Phillips makes his directorial debut at the Miami Beach Stage Door Theatre, leading a cast of accomplished actors in what promises to be a riveting production. Currently the Production Manager for Maltz Jupiter Theatre, Clayton has also directed local Florida productions of Music Man, Hairspray and Chicago for Lake Worth Playhouse and The Outgoing Tide for Arts Garage in Delray Beach. He is the recipient of the New Hampshire Theatre Award for Best Director for his production of John Pielmeier's Slow Dance With A Hot Pick-Up and was Harold Prince's assistant for the Broadway and touring productions of Kiss of the Spider Woman, Candide and Parade.

Summer at Hedgerow Theatre usually means it's time for a Ray Cooney farce. The theatre, which is currently producing Yasmina Reza's comedy, 'Art' through June 17, will bring Cooney's 'Not Now, Darling' to its stage for a July 5 to Aug. 12 run.
On Sunday May 6 Kritzerland presented its monthly show, May's entitled Broadway Bound: Unsung Songwriters at Sterling's Upstairs at the Federal. Bruce Kimmel and Adryan Russ produce a terrific evening of entertainment with an emphasis on tunes rarely if ever heard and featuring a bevy of top-notch musical theatre talent. This show proved no exception with Damon Kirsche, Melody Hollis, Jane Noseworthy, Beth Malone, John Massey and special guest star Daisy Eagan, the youngest person to ever win a Tony Award for The Secret Garden. First-time with Kritzerland, musical director Tom Griep accompanied beautifully on piano throughout the 75 minute set. Featured songwriters included among others: the amazing Marcy Heisler and Zina Goldrich, Alan Chapman (in attendance), Larry Grossman, Hal Hackady and Ira Levin, who as a familiar writer brought us on film and stage: Rosemary's Baby and Deathtrap.

The STARZ Original Series BOSS is set to premiere its second season on Friday, August 17th at 10pm ET/PT. Joining the ensemble cast as series regulars this season are Jonathan Groff (Spring Awakening, 'Glee') as Ian Todd, a smart and ambitious young advisor to Kane.

The opening performance is scheduled for August 12.
