Theatre Under The Stars (TUTS) will present Urban Cowboy: The Musical from July 14 - 19, 2011.

Theatre Under The Stars (TUTS) is excited to announce the cast selected to lead the TUTS and Houston debut of the Houston-inspired Urban Cowboy: The Musical, scheduled to play July 14 - 19 at Miller Outdoor Theatre (6000 Hermann Park Drive).

It will be the definitive jam session of the summer when Theatre Under The Stars' Humphreys School of Musical Theatre presents FREE performances of Disney's Camp Rock: The Musical at Miller Outdoor Theatre June 8 - 10, 2011 at 11:00 a.m.

Theatre Under The Stars (TUTS) will present ROCK OF AGES at Hobby Center for the Performing Arts from May 31 to June 12, 2011.

LA CAGE AUX FOLLES, the 2010 Tony Award winner for Best Revival of a Musical, played its final Broadway performance on Sunday, May 1 at 3:00 PM at the Longacre Theatre (220 West 48th Street). At closing, the production had played 433 performances and 15 previews. LA CAGE AUX FOLLES will be launching a national tour this fall, starting in October in Des Moines, IA and starring George Hamilton.

Wonderland, the new musical that reinvents 'Alice in Wonderland' for the 21st century, opened on Broadway April 17 following previews from March 21 at the Marquis Theatre. Janet Dacal, of In the Heights, plays a modern-day Manhattan mom named Alice, who sings a score by Frank Wildhorn and Jack Murphy. Three time Emmy Award winning choreographer Marguerite Derricks delves into how she got involved with the new take on Alice in Wonderland, and what audiences can expect from her versatile choreography. Marguerite was just nominated for a 2011 Astaire Award for her choreography in Wonderland.

The 2011 Tommy Tune Awards winners have been announced! To a crowd of more than 2,000 people, Theatre Under The Stars (TUTS) declared the winners of TUTS' ninth annual Tommy Tune Awards on the evening of Wednesday, April 20, at the Hobby Center for the Performing Arts.
