National Theatre Live has announced international broadcasts of the Rufus Norris' National Theatre production of The Threepenny Opera by Bertolt Brecht and Kurt Weill, in collaboration with Elisabeth Hauptmann, in a new adaptation by Simon Stephens on Thursday, September 22, 2016; and, Carrie Cracknell's acclaimed National Theatre production of Terence Rattigan's The Deep Blue Sea on Thursday, October 6, 2016.

Rufus Norris's National Theatre production of THE THREEPENNY OPERA by Bertolt Brecht and Kurt Weill in a new adaptation by Simon Stephens will be broadcast live to cinemas around the world direct from the National's Olivier Theatre on 22 September at 7pm.

Kenneth Branagh Theatre Company's RED VELVET just released behind-the-scenes pictures today! The production, which originally premiered at the Tricycle Theatre in 2012 before transferring to St Ann's Warehouse in New York in 2014, is the third play in the inaugural Plays at the Garrick season and will play at the Garrick Theatre from 23 January until 27 February 2016. RED VELVET is written by Lolita Chakrabarti with direction by Indhu Rubasingham and stars Adrian Lester as Ira Aldridge. Following its performance in New Haven, the play will have its London West End premiere at the National Theatre of Great Britain's Dorfman Theatre, in August 2016.

The Skriker is commissioned and produced by Manchester International Festival and the Royal Exchange Theatre, Manchester. Maxine Peake will play the eponymous role and Juma Sharkah and Laura Elsworthy will play Lily and Josie respectively in The Skriker at Manchester International Festival. The Old Vic, DigitalTheatre.com & CinemaLive are delighted to announce that The Old Vic's five-star, sold-out production of Arthur Miller's The Crucible directed by Yael Farber and starring Richard Armitage ('The Hobbit', 'Into the Storm') will be screened in over 350 cinemas across the UK for two screenings only, Thursday 4th & Sunday 7th December 2014. Casting is announced today for God Bless the Child, a new play at the Royal Court Theatre written by Molly Davies and directed by Artistic Director Vicky Featherstone, premiering on 12 November at Jerwood Theatre Upstairs.

Michael Attenborough directs William Shakespeare's Measure for Measure previewing 12 February, with press night on 18 February and running until 10 April 2010.
