Chaz Jankel and Derek Hussey Collaborate with John Kelly for New Song for REASONS TO BE CHEERFUL

Pioneering disabled-led theatre company Graeae has been a proud standard-bearer for protest and disability rights for many years. In conjunction with the final tour of their smash hit musical Reasons to be Cheerful, set in 1979 Thatcher's Britain, Blockheads  Chaz Jankel, Derek Hussey and cast member John Kelly have written a protest song for 2017, 'If It Can't Be Right Then It Must Be Wrong'.

REASONS TO BE CHEERFUL to Embark on UK Tour

The pioneering disabled-led theatre company Graeae has confirmed tour dates and venues for the return of their acclaimed musical Reasons to be Cheerful, which will hit the road this autumn. Following a hugely successful tour in 2012 which was seen by almost 12,000 people and a series of concert performances last year, this joyful and defiant production will visit seven regions around the country, kicking off at the Belgrade, Coventry on 4 September and rounding off the tour with a two week run at Theatre Royal, Stratford East in London.

Wilko Johnson Brings New Zest for Life to Warrington

Wilko Johnson is feeling more alive than ever, despite a terminal cancer diagnosis, and he's bringing his new zest for life to Warrington. The singer and guitarist's unique playing style, his black-suited, scowling look, and the yards he covered across the stage in Feelgood, the Solid Senders and Ian Dury's The Blockheads will be resurrected at Parr Hall on 6 October with special quest Aaron Keylock.

Sheffield Theatres Announces Full Casts for WAITING FOR GODOT and World Premiere of THE NAP

Charley 'Aitch' Bembridge Joins Cast of THREE MINUTE HEROES

The Belgrade Theatre has announced that Charley 'Aitch' Bembridge, founding member of The Selecter will join the cast of Bob Eaton's 2 Tone musical Three Minute Heroes this October. The former Selecter drummer and 2 Tone pioneer will join up-and-coming cast members Joseph Eaton-Kent, Conor Nolan, Sheldon Green, Elizah Jackson and Sarah Workman live on the B2 stage as drummer to the production's live ska band which also features Joey Hickman on Keyboard/Trombone, Dan McIntyre on Guitar and Michael Searl on Bass.
